Order Description
This assessment involves reflection on two resources: one, a media report on the experience of others that highlights social and political issues related to difference and diversity (resources will be uploaded); and the other, an experience of your own, in the form of Independent Activities. This is described in more detail below. The assessment is based on a combination of your reflections on the media report and the Independent Activities.
The material (will be uploaded) consists of newspaper/media items relevant to the 4 themes of Equality, Rights, Freedom and Marginalisation and the questions related to each of these themes. (Uploaded as well)
These involve engagement with personal real life situations and experiences. The activities might include things such as: attending a film, play or exhibition; attending a lecture, seminar, professional development or training event; documenting a personal experience, an observation of public behaviour or participation in a specific event. Your reflections on personal experience should also address the relevant themes (Equality, Rights, Freedom and Marginalisation) and associated questions that you used in your reflections on the media report you selected.
